Macro photography inside the sculptures
It is a characteristic of sculptures made of optical glass that they create an infinite inner geometric image, a world of pictures. If an attentive and sensitive photographer deliberately seeks the inner details which are sometimes restricted to one square centimetre, they may become independent works of art after magnification thanks to the photographer Ágnes Szél, who used her special skills to take macro photos of views never seen with the naked eye, followed by presenting them to glass fans at our joint exhibitions. At these shows, a picture showing the inside of the glass decorated the wall above the glass sculpture, and therefore an inner view came to life. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Ágnes Szél for her pioneer work.
